Teacher/Lionel Amadote

Lionel’s great passion for Dance could only be shared in teaching

Lionel Amadote is a passionate teacher. For many years, he has transmitted his energy, his sensitivity and his taste for interpretation to students of all ages (children, adolescents, adults) and all levels (beginner, intermediate, professional, competition preparation). He teaches in different schools in France (Studio Harmonic in Paris, Lille), while being regularly invited in renowned workshops in France and abroad.
His course is based on solid technical elements from his own training in classical dance and jazz. It starts with a pre-warming of the joints, continues with an exercise of bends, isolations, clear / round legs / pirouettes, developed, to finish with a dynamic stretching exercise. The peculiarity of his course is to build exercises in perfect harmony with the music, allowing the dancer to develop his artistic sense from the work of the bar. The dancers then work diagonally diagonally, ending with a choreography that can explore different styles (contemporary jazz, lyrical, afro, commercial, gospel …). The choreography always develops around a theme (music to explore, character to embody, quality of movement to work), in the perspective of a preparation for a stage work.

Through a physical “construction”, including forms and different energies (corresponding to the studied dance technique), the BAR (essential element of the course) will allow the body to be able to express itself fully with heating of the joints, exercises of mobility of the body, relaxation

VARIATION

Classes must be the opportunity to discover the many different styles of its discipline, offering the open-mindedness necessary for DANCE
This week, it was “Gospel” but it could have been: Afro Jazz, Lyrical Jazz, Jazz contempory, modern Jazz, Broadway Jazz …
